That thing called LOVE

“Don’t just wait for valentines day to remind your partner how much you love and appreciate them. Everyday is an opportunity to tell them”

Why is it that we wait for the heavily exploited & commercialised ‘Valentines Day’ to tell and show our partners that we love them? Shouldn’t this be done on a daily basis?

Love is not something that is easily transferable! Romance is something that should come natural and not need prompting from society!

However, most of us women take it so personal if our partner does not buy us a gift or send us a card. Me personally- I love it when my husband sends me a huge bunch of flowers & chocolates to my office for all my colleagues to see. Yes it puts a cheesy smile on my face, because I remember being the ‘sad singleton’ many years back. I remember sending my girls lovely messages on valentines day to keep the hope alive that one day we will all find our soulmates, the one, our perfect fit!
Now today I have that, and even though my husband always treats me to such pleasant surprises that some women only get once a year, I still used to expect something on the 14th February. What is it about this day that turns us all erratic!?

This year my thoughts are a little different and I am just happy to be with my husband on the so called ‘day of Love’. Instead of filling the pockets of the greedy Valentines industry cats… Because in our house EVERYDAY IS VALENTINES DAY
